The Ministry of Health today has appealed to people in the capital’s Red Zone districts to await their turn to get vaccinated and not simply rush for inoculations, which can result in crowding and a potential spread of the virus.
Ministry spokeswoman Or Vandin said today that people in the four locked down districts, including those who do get to be vaccinated, should always ensure good public order, have proper discipline, maintain protective measures (wear masks, wash hands and practice social distancing.
They should also cooperate with the authorities.
“If it’s not your turn yet, do not come to the site or do not gather together, please wait until your turn, time and day set by the local authority to avoid crowd congestion at the vaccination site on same day,” Vandin said.
She said that crowds create an opportunity for high-risk spread of COVID-19 at any time at the vaccination sites.
